  • 1987 -
  • Foundation of B&W in Berlin, Germany by Dieter Braune & Horst Wulsch.
    rebuilding of used Bekum machines.
    Starting of co-operation with W.Müller, supplier of extrusion heads.
  • 1989 -
  • Launch of B&W machine line with cantilevered clamps and diagonal tiebars
    (blow and drop machines) type BW 2000 - BW 20
  • 1992 -
  • Launch of first fully automatic macjines with tiebars at the bottom of the clamp platens including deflashing in the
    machine and oriented article transfer type BW 1000 - BW 6000 as well as automation kits
    for blow and drop machines.
    First time at K-Show in Düsseldorf with 2 machines - BW 3000 E and BW 5000 DE.
  • 1994 -
  • Foundation of subsidiary in Policka, Czech Republic for pre-assembly of machines.
    First time at the NPE - Show in Chicago, USA with a BW 5000 DE.
  • 1995 -
  • Sold to Johnson Controls´ Plastic Machinery Division (Uniloy division).
  • 1996 -
  • Death of Dieter Braune
  • 1998 -
  • Integration in Milacron group - name changed to Uniloy Milacron Germany B&W Blowmolding Systems.
    Launch of long stroke machines BW 8000 DE and jerry-can machine BW 40 E.
  • 2000 -
  • Production completely shifted to Czech subsidiary "Milacron Czech Republic".
    Relocation of German headquarters to Grossbeeren close to Berlin, Germany. Retirement of Horst Wulsch.
  • 2003 -
  • Launch of new machine line with horizontal shuttle movement on linear guide rails with fully supported clamps
    from the bottom type BWF4- 24.
  • 2004 -
  • Standardisation of machine names of all Uniloy Milacron machine lines; name of B&W -machines changed to
    UMS (Uniloy Milacron Shuttle) followed by the indication of clamp force in metric tons followed by "D" for double
    or "S" for single sided machines. Example UMS 24.D double station machine with 24 tons clamp force.
  • 2005 -
  • Launch of jerry-can machine UMS 35.S/D
  • 2006 -
  • Launch of modular UMS 8/12.S/D
  • 2007 -
